Juniper Print Shop Founder, Jenny Komenda
Buying art doesn't have to be expensive.
Art is powerfulBuying art can be a pricey feat, but the new age of digital downloads has allowed for a more affordable alternative which has been a game-changer for those of us who are ballin’ on a budget. .
Then…I found
Here are the TOP FIVE reasons why Juniper Print Shop is my go-to for wall art:
1| Tightly curated assortment. Curated by their founder, interior designer, and artist, Jenny Komenda, there is enough variety, but not so much that you end up in analysis paralysis.
2| It’s affordable! Especially for large-scale pieces (AMEN!!). I have not purchased any framed artwork where it does get a little pricey, but I love their canvas prints for oversized pieces. The largest piece I’ve bought is Hillside in a 40x55” canvas for $249.00 (P.S. they’ve also got a great tutorial for how to frame those big pieces in the IKEA Bjorksta frame).
3| They help you pull a look together. Each artwork page has a “pairs well with” section at the bottom and they offer great pairing ideas on their Instagram Stories. If you just want a set of two or three pieces, they publish different series of prints that pair beautifully together.
4| Broad material and size offering. All artwork is available on canvas, paper, or as a digital download in 11 to 13 sizes. They also have a mobile preview tool that allows you to upload a photo of your space to see art to scale in your home.
5| Quality you can count on. I’m not an artist nor an expert on canvas and paper qualities, but I’m sure the “archival-quality giclee canvas” and “UV resistant, matte-finish paper” they use has something to do with it. What I can say with authority is that I've been impressed. The pieces look gorgeous straight out of the box and just as great months later.
If all that's not enough, it’s a brand that I just feel good supporting. All the prints they sell are either licensed from independent artists or are vintage pieces purchased by Jenny or licensed from museum partners. They also have a cool “Meet our Artists” series on their blog which is a cool way to feel connected to the talented folks behind the art.
Now - the fun part - let me introduce you to some of my favorite pieces!
Landscapes
This is where Juniper Print Shop really shines. I searched FOREVER to find oversized vintage landscapes (at an affordable price) and felt like I hit the jackpot when I found these beauties.
Salzburg (vintage) | Hillside by Hannah Winters
Ruthie's Meadow by Hannah Winters | Lakeside (vintage) & Knots II by Jenny Komenda
Backroad (vintage) | Spring Day by Laurel-Dawn Latshaw
Vintage Reproductions
In addition to landscapes, there is a huge range of vintage art. Some of the more simplistic pieces - like Flight or Swan - layer beautifully with the more complex 18th- and 19th-century botanicals.
Flight | Dutch Flowers
Poppy Hill | Victorian Flowers
Swan | Faint Florals
Dynamic Duos
Coordinating pieces are a great, quick and easy way to decorate a space. Several of the Juniper artists publish series of prints that work beautifully in sets of two or three in large and small scales.

Terra Florets I & II by Anee Shah | Dahlia I & II by Lynne Millar
The Abstract
If you want something with a more modern or simplistic feel, there is also a great assortment of true abstract and simple linework pieces - including several Jenny Komenda originals!

Trails by Candace Wiant | Paths I & II by Jenny Komenda
Daybreak by Melody McMunn | Blue Notes by Jenny Komenda
Meditation by Jenny Komenda & Flight (vintage) | Salt Flats by Annie K. Blake & Botanical III by Katherine George
Art for Kids' Spaces
Juniper Print Shop doesn't have an extensive assortment of the typical artwork you'd find in a nursery or kid's room, but there are a ton of cool pieces to help elevate spaces for the little ones in a unique way.
Dino by Kate Lines | Rabbits by Jenny Komenda
Barbary // Peachy I // Here With You | Copenhagen // Luna // Apollo
Sonnet by Jenna Marie Ward | Dots by Olivia Herrick & Alphabet by Angela Hardison
Citrus I & II by Nancy Noreth | Posy by Anee Shah
Photography
Photography is a small category for Juniper Print Shop, but there seems to be just enough variety in subject and aesthetic whether I'm looking for a big, bold print to stand on its own or something smaller to layer with vintage pieces.
Amalfi by Sarah Ellefson | White Sands by Sarah Ellefson
Ferris by Jenny Komenda | Rockies I & II by Mikayla Robertson
All of the Above
What do you do if you love them all? Consider a gallery wall.
That's a Wrap
